Ken Sutton CPC

Chief Executive Officer

I’ve been here since 1969, so you could say I’ve got some experience at this. At our company, big ideas go to me and through me every day. Outside of our company, I’m the president emeritus of the Metroplex Association of Personnel Consultants, and I’m the vice president of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants.

As an Eagle Scout and former U.S. Army Green Beret, it’s no surprise that I’m an outdoorsman – in fact, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 1998! Here in the states, I enjoy cycling, swimming, mountain climbing, kayaking, motorcycle touring, learning, historic preservation, and volunteering at my Episcopal church.

Liz Wilson

Chief Financial Officer

I began as the controller for DES in January 2011. The previous six years I was owner of a bookkeeping service company, of which DES was one of my clients. My background includes working with public accounting firms and a corporate benefits company, as well as working for 25 years in the automotive industry.

I enjoy reading, cooking, taking in a good concert every now and then, and attending exhibits at local museums and arts centers.

Dobbs Sutton

Senior Recruiter

I’m the jack of all trades when it comes to recruiting! I was born into the business; my parents started the company in 1965. I’ve done everything from accounting to being an office manager and recruiting.

I have two wonderful sons, Troy and Sebastian. In my spare time I like bike riding, cooking, gardening, and traveling. Things on my bucket list include: skydiving, visiting Costa Rica, touring Italy with my mom, and jumping off a waterfall.

Jessica Peddicord

Director of Business Development

Originally from Canton, Ohio, I moved to Dallas 5 1/2 years ago and have never looked back. I love it here! Though I have used recruiting and management skills in my career for over 10 years, I have found my home at DES as the Staffing Manager in the Temporary Division. At DES, I have the opportunity to genuinely help others. I am able to help someone start a career and support themselves and/or their family, which is truly incredible to witness. In my spare time I enjoy live music, football games and spending time with loved ones.

I am a Dallas native, graduating from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Business Administration. As a Recruiting Coordinator I love being able to identify and work with candidates to match them to our varied clientele needs. It is a rewarding opportunity working with the Senior Recruiters at DES and assisting people making their next career move – their best career move. In my spare time I spend time with family and friends, play sports and travel.

Ashley Johnson

Recruiting / Project Coordinator

I am passionate about helping others and always have been. I am excited to begin my new path with this amazing team to help people in a new way. I take tremendous pleasure making others smile. Life’s a garden, dig it.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking in a retro swing/jazz show with a local orchestra and I am quite fond of accordions. I also love bowling, stand-up comedy and I am a bit of a roller-coaster enthusiast.

Eric Kardas

Business Development Manager

I am a proud son of Poughkeepsie, New York and a graduate of Vassar College. My wife and I moved here several years ago and I can’t imagine living anywhere else! While new to recruiting, I have an extensive nonprofit development background and I am excited to bring my unique skillset and enthusiasm to the DES team.

Business development is about much more than selling our services or closing contracts – I am here to build lasting, productive relationships between DES and the greater DFW business community. I am continually inspired by my DES colleagues and I am genuinely excited to bring their recruiting talents to bear in helping area businesses with their staffing needs. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking and camping, and playing kubb.
