Liz Wilson

Controller
I began as controller for DES January, 2011. The previous six years I was owner of bookkeeping Service Company, of which DES was one of my clients. My background includes working with/for public accounting firms, a corporate benefits company and twenty-five years in the automotive industry.
I enjoy reading, cooking, taking in a good concert every now and then, and attending exhibits at local museums and arts centers.

Karen Wright

CPC
January 2006-Present
Sr. Executive Recruiter
Recruiter with an authentic process that drives Speed, Accuracy, Long-term successful placements and smiles!
Simple terms: Professional Recruiter or Head Hunter – you choose!
In the past couple of years I have added long term temporary assignments to my desk so it’s now considered “Full Service” with Direct Hire and Temporary positions.
Positions I fill include but are not limited to: Accounting, Executive Assistants, Administrative Assistants, HR Professionals and more in all Industries.
I’m a firm believer that when you know recruiting the title or industry of a search assignment can be anything.
Direct recruiting in Dallas for the position you can’t fill is my passion! I love a challenge and I love the thrill of closing a deal! I also love the consultative approach when you partner with your clients on what’s happening in the market. (There is a huge difference in a challenge and unrealistic expectations).
Doing what I do is natural to me: I literally grew up in the Industry. My Dad, Henry Wright, Jr. owned several Executive Search Agencies and was always on the Boards of MAPC, TAPC and involved in NAPS. Family vacations for us were Conferences. I am very fortunate to have excellent mentors that continue to encourage and teach me!
I have a boss and an owner that invest in myself and our company so we can stay on top of new trends, ideas, technology and so much more in our ever-changing world.
Previous experience includes Recruiting, Corporate HR Generalist and Non-Profit Administration
Education and Professional Affiliations:
B.S. East Texas State University
Chi Omega, Promise House
Outside of work you will typically find me outside, working on some sort of renovation project or playing w/ my dog. I love spending time with family and friends. Passions include Photography, Art, being Creative and anything Active (tennis, hiking, walking, exploring and music).

Dobbs Sutton

Recruitment Coordinator
I’m the jack of all trades when it comes to recruiting! I was born into the business, my parents started the company in 1965. I’ve done everything from accounting and temp to being an office manager and recruiting.
I have two wonderful sons, Troy and Sebastian. In my spare time I like to take the boys bike riding, cook and I also enjoy gardening.
If I were stranded on an island I would only bring one thing, My best friend and then we’d figure everything else out from there.
I also love to travel; my favorite place to go is Shaw Island in the San Juan Islands.
Things on my bucket list include- Skydiving, I would love to visit Costa Rica and camp on the beach, A trip to Italy with my mom and to jump off a waterfall.

Stacia Warneke

Temporary Staffing Manager
May 2010- Present
Texas A&M- Commerce, BS in Radio/ Television
I handle all of your temporary staffing needs and I’m great at providing quality candidates quickly!
I grew up in a suburb east of Dallas; I have a wonderful family and a little sister who I want to be just like.
I came to DES after graduating college because of Karen and Jennifer who are sorority sisters. They offered to let me work here on a temp basis until I found a TV news job (what my degree is in). I interviewed for a few of those positions and never found anything worth leaving for. So, I stuck with recruiting and learned the ropes. At the end of the day I’m thankful I stayed, recruiting keeps you on your toes and you’re always meeting new people! Plus, what’s better than living in Dallas!? Nothing.
But don’t be fooled. You’d be surprised to know that my favorite day of the year is November 1st- opening day of deer season.
My bucket list includes- Noodling, visiting each of the 7 wonders in the world, spending a summer in Canada doing nothing, and hunting in South Africa.
In my spare time I like to cook- I make some mean sour cream chicken enchiladas!
My favorite quote: “today I will be happier than a bird with a French fry” – anonymous
My favorite movie is Bridesmaids- I have never laughed so hard in my life!
I’m terrified of heights and I’m a sucker for anything with an owl on it. Hence, the Chi Omega in me!
